• Trail Highlights
  The Lake Minnetonka LRT Regional Trail continues to be a popular route, stretching nearly 16 miles from Hopkins through Minnetonka, Excelsior, and Chanhassen to Victoria. It attracts roughly 471,000 annual users and connects to historic and recreational attractions along its path.
  Additionally, the Dakota Rail Regional Trail, which runs from Wayzata through the Lake Minnetonka area, offers scenic and historic views of the region.

• Klondike Dog Derby Canceled Again
  Due to insufficient snowfall, the beloved Lake Minnetonka Klondike Dog Derby—an annual sled dog race tradition—has been canceled for the second consecutive year, including in 2025.
