Submit a coyote sighting

We had a pretty significant uptick in coyote sightings recently although none have been reported within the past week or so that I saw anyway.

If you see one click the Coyote Spotter tab on the front page and submit your sighting. Tell us where you saw it and if you have any photos or a video please submit them as well.

Here’s a screenshot of what to click on the main page to make your submission. I have it circled in blue. You can also read what others have submitted.

I’m trying to keep a yearly tally and area’s around the lake where the most sightings occur. This year so far it’s been Mound.

Remember to not leave your pets unattended outside and don’t feed the coyotes.

Also, be kind to them, they’re an important part of the ecosystem and they take care of rats, and that is of benefit to us.

So please help by sharing your coyote experiences, it will be appreciated.
